The Southern Downs and Granite Belt river systems offer good fishing opportunities. Rivers, dams and creeks are well stocked with fingerlings on a regular basis. The high country stretches between Stanthorpe and Tenterfield of NSW - and is home to Girraween, Boonoo Boonoo and the Sundown National Parks.
